The 11th annual East Haven Fireworks & Beach Party sponsored by the Vietnam Veteran Chapter 484 is being held on Sunday June 26th from noon to 10pm at the East Haven Town Beach.

East Haven Fireworks Display 2011 Enjoy a wonderful day of fun with delicious foods and great music. There will be live entertainment by DJ Ralph, Full Circle, One Way Ticket and The Spectacles. WPLR 99.1 will also be there with a live remote.

While we've been experiencing some pretty rainy weather over the past week or so, the forecast for Sunday looks terrific with sunny skies and temps in the high 70's. Pack up the kids, coolers, round up all your family and friends don't forget to bring a banket or lawn chairs for this great event.

In the event of rain, the fireworks will be held on Monday, June 27th.

Donna that is a nice thing that the Viet Nam Vet's are doing. Many towns have taken July 4th Fireworks out of their budget, Middletown where I live is one of those towns.

George - That is so true. They've done it in New Haven which is so disappointing. I'm so glad that the VVA Chapter does such a wonderful job each year so that we continue to have the fireworks in East Haven.

Ed - We sure did luck out last night. We had a few sprinkles at around 8:30 but it quickly passed and the fireworks were spectacular.

Fred - Thousands turned out last night for the East Haven Fireworks & Beach Party. It was tremendous.

Jeff - Time flies doesn't it? This is one of my favorite times of the year as we celebrate the 4th of July holiday.
