Real Estate Broker/Owner with Prudential California Realty/Gem Mortgage

What or Who the heck is, "George?"  George represents your personal business model which Star Power founder, Howard Britton, described as a third party business entity that is separated from your actual Real Estate Branded Franchise.  Mr. Britton expounded on this point this morning at the Mulhearn Realtors 3rd Quarter Breakfast Awards meeting at the Holiday Inn in La Mirada, California.  For Example, If you were working at Prudential California Realty, you would have a further sub-branding of yourself or your team such as, "The Dream Team,"or "The Dream Catcher."

This "George" represents the sum total of your business model's MOJO and Mr. Britton talked today about how to build up George so that it is healthy and expanding vs. dying and starving.  Learning to look as your personal business as a third party has lots of advantages including but not limited to:

Door Knocking:  Do you think it would be beneficial or deleterious to get George into some type of marketing system wherein he contacts hundreds of potential homeowners or buyers a week?

Systems Building:  What is a system?  Some sequential event that repeats over and over again.  Do you think there are any systems that you can implement that could raise George to a new level of production?

Scripts:  Does George have standardized phrases and dialogues that can help communicate real estate ideas better?  For example:  Is the market "tanking and cratering" or just "correcting."

It is very interesting to judge your business as a George in that it takes the YOU out of the equation on the surface and refocuses on your business as a business.  Is your business expanding or contracting?  How can you get to the next level in your George?

"George, finances everything that you do in your life."   Howard Britton

Look, I don't care if you call it George or Martha or whatever, but it is ingenious to consider your business venture from a third party perspective, it helps you observe the facts about you form another point!
