Within the Walk, A Field of Color . . . Sunday Photo

Within the Walk, A Field of Color

I was invited to play along with a few friends at a golf course in Central CT. The course was interesting and there were some well laid out plantings to match the fairways.

As I approached a tee, I was taken by a blaze of yellow alongside the tee box. Obviously years of growth had made a rather picturesque border.

This patch of black eyed susans just stood out amongst all the green of the course. Just a little life, and I also mad par on the hole.

I love color, and this time of year it just pops out everywhere. People who can garden with a "plan" just simply amaze me.  Nice photos Ed, have a great Sunday.

It's always nice when we can spot things that other walk right by.

You didn't mention the rest of your game but paring that whole was due to the relaxing mood the flowers put you in.

Enjoy the day

David, posting it on AR ws the first thought that came to me, of course after I hit my drive

Gary, this course would have been ideal for you, as the woods and fairways had an abundance of wild flowers. there was color every, even the water lilies were in bloom on the ponds

Randy, I hadn't played this course in years, and I always played it better than my home course. I was medalist of our group within single digits over par

Ginny, are you looking for a lesson?

Barbara, there were many plowers to appreciate, but this group was by far the most noticeable, and they ran right along side the lady's tee

Barbara, for sure none today, or maybe for the next couple of days as well.

Cindy, for sure a planned garden is a wonder to me. One must really know all about plants and flowering shrubs to make it work well

Don, I was certainly chillin' that morning

Chris, this patch were just shining looking for attention.

Dagny, maybe the next time you're in the state we can arrange to meet up?
