Everday Athlete Kirkland, WA was the idea of three fitness and running enthusiasts. Together, they dreamed up the idea for a running store on the Eastside. The three friends found friends to design and construct the perfect space at a reasonable price (since they were financing the project themselves!). They assembled their own shelves and display walls. Almost the entire store was constructed by these three friends/owners and much of their interior decorating came from community donations. Finally, on June 25th, 2004 - Everyday Athlete Kirkland, WA opened for business!

Since that opening day, Everyday Athlete Kirkland, WA has been the store that podiatrists, physical therapists, trainers, coaches, and athletes have turned to. Why? Everyday Athlete Kirkland, WA is run by the most knowledgeable staff. The staff are all competitive runners and have years of marathon experience. Everyday Athlete Kirkland, WA takes their passion for running and fitness into the community! In 2005, the owners of Everyday Athlete Kirkland, WA had the idea to organize a new Half Marathon in Kirkland on Mother’s Day. It was a success and has since become an annual tradition!
