The house started to rumble… We ran outside and what did we see?

Todd, I probably like yourself, love air shows and to look up in the sky and see tight formations, it is marvelous to watch. Great photo.

Hi Todd - Our previous home was located about 2 miles north of the very small airport that serves a couple of northern Colorado communities - also the site of a big air show every couple of years, and for three days during the show, we had awesome seats as those incredible machines blasted by right over our heads - and no traffic! What a treat!

It's quite a thrill to see these jets close up.  Nothing like the Blue Angels streaking across the Golden Gate.

Today is the annual Chicago Air Show which is one of the biggest summer events - and it's raining and thundering outside  . . .

We get fly-bys here from the fighter jets coming in from Nellis. Air shows are FUN and entertaining for everyone Todd!

Hi Todd,
We have been to a number of air shows - aways a great spectacle.  Amazing the precision and skill of the pilots.  Our oldest wants to be a pilot, something he said at 3 years old after watching his first air show in Seattle where the Blue Angels performed.  He is now piloting radio controlled planes but is pushing to start on his pilots license.

I was not aware of the Patriot Jet Team - how cool to be able to still perform at such a high level as a civilian. Their bios are very impressive.

Nothing like an air show but i have to say they've tightened the requirements on those formations & don't let them descend as low as they use to which is so disappointing TOdd!
