This evening September 20th from 7-9pm the Parkland Early Jazz Ensemble of Champaign-Urbana will be playing at the Iron Post in downtown Urbana. Best of all, the show is free!!! This is a really talented group of performers and the music they play is loads of fun. There's no better way to spend your Tuesday evening, I assure you :-)
Below is a short video clip I took of them playing previously. As you'll discover, the low-lighting in this venue really sets the mood for an evening of jazz when you're there in person, but makes for a somewhat mediocre video viewing experience.
