Dunedin Fine Art Center in Dunedin Florida offers workshops and classes for all ages!
The main campus is located at 1143 Michigan Avenue and that was my destination this afternoon.
Years ago, when I was still teaching high school history, I owned a potter's wheel and a couple of kilns. Pottery was my hobby and my passion. It has been a while since I was last at the Dunedin Fine Art Center and they have expanded quite a bit, now having the Cottage Campus at 1141 Broadway and the Stirling Campus at 730 Broadway.
Naturally, my favorite part of the building is the pottery section, so you know that I took many photos there, specifically to let my clients know about this wonderful facility.
Classes are offered day, evening and even on the weekends. There are classes in jewelry making, photography, printmaking, digital arts, fiber arts, watermedia, painting, drawing, sculpture, glass & enamel, fiber arts and more.
Some classes are for specific age groups, such as teens and children. Naturally, there are special summer classes and you can also purchase studio time to work on your own projects.
There are also wonderful exhibitions taking place at the Dunedin Fine Art Center! Check their website to see which exhibitions are currently going on, you won't be disappointed!
And while you are there, be sure to check out their store (photo above is the entrance to that store) for some unusual gifts! Dunedin Fine Art Center, just one more reason to consider Dunedin Florida as your relocation destination in the sun!
