I review a lot of Realtors Facebook pages, and those who are successful are engaging... not sharing. Your Facebook marketing strategy should consist of you creating compelling content, thought provoking posts, and engaging questions. If you're simply just sharing articles that you've found in your local news or on websites like Trulia, stop. If you're only sharing, it will be obvious to anyone reviewing your facebook page.
People want to hear things that have a personal touch, they want opinions and insights, and they want to know there's an actual person behind the page, not just a news forwarding/sharing machine.
There are certainly times when you should share articles you've found and you believe will be helpful for your community, but comment about it too. But your focus should be on your thoughts, opinions, and insights. It should be YOUR content.
When you post something to your Facebook page (or any social media platform for that matter), the most important questions you can ask your self is, "Is this original, and will this provide a real value to my readers?"
Providing quality and consistent content online, is the foundation for any real estate marketing campaign.
There is a great book out there called, 'Content Rules'. I'd recommend it to anyone who's at all interested in being successful online.
