Another vacation found us in Washington, D.C. To avoid a downpour we ducked in to a nearby building. Turned out to be the National Gallery of Art. What a delightful afternoon … artfully dry. We had a similar experience in Chicago when it rained as we were by a major art museum. Saw many world class paintings with dry paint.
The Candy Dance celebration in Genoa, Nevada got a rain shower this weekend. Surely the attendees at this annual outdoor event enjoyed the cool-off as it was getting a bit warm. Showers like that make the event memorable and fresh.
