In the abstract

Richard,

Thank you for the laugh.  I needed that after a long day.   As much as I love my kids, I can totally relate to what this guy is feeling sometimes!  Cheers!

So this guy has a new driveway poured and the neighborhood kids thought it would be fun to write their names and put their hand prints in the wet cement.

When the home owner discovered what had happened he became so angry his wife thought he was going to have a heart attack.  She asked “why are you so upset? I thought you loved little children”.  He replied “I do love little children but I love them in the abstract not the concrete”.

Hey Brian, I guess I would be a little upset that hand prints and names are in the concrete. Funny though!!

Good. Better. Brian.

Glenn, Life's too short!  It's all about the stories... and the history.  If I bought a house with handprints in the driveway, I'd be curious to know more about the people, and what fun they must have had... I think it can help spread some good memories and love...  And surely you've stuck your hand or a stick into some wet concrete at least as a teenager?  ;-)

That was a cute one!  I love them in the abstract and concrete though!
