How did you find me?? The instant results of a long-tail search on Google

Last week I received an email from a prospect that was in a desperate search for a Bank of America Cedar Hill, Texas Short Sale Agent.  Her email stated that she had already initiated contact with BOA and completed most of the preliminary paperwork.  The bank advised her to locate a Short Sale Listing agent and to get her home listed as soon as possible.

After contacting her and hearing her dilema, she informed me that she had contacted several realtors in Cedar Hill, Texas, but none of them were willing to do a Bank of America Cedar Hill, Tx.  Short Sale. Well ironically, I was already working on a Bank off America Cedar Hill Short Sale and had blogged about it a few weeks before and that's how she found me.  She googled Bank of America Cedar Hill, Texas Short Sale Agents, and there was my AR bloghttp://activerain.com/blogsview/2553030/cedar-hill-texas-hafa-short-sale-list-price-determined-by-boa

 How cool is that??

I met with my new client last Saturday and took the Short Sale Listing.  Yeah I'm going back to battle with BOA, what can I say??...I'm a sucker for corporate chaos! :).  No but really, I think it's unfair that homeowners are in the predicament that they are in, but I'm glad that I can give them some piece of mind instead of them dealing with Foreclosures and eviction notices.

I've been reading all over AR from Katerina to Steve about how long-tail searches are where the gold is.  I'd began to understand it somewhat, but I couldn't see people typing in such a long search query, but those that do are the one's that are specific and serious.

Thanks AR for all the great top quality education that you all consistently give us!!

Isn't it amazing how much business our fellow Realtors willingly pass up?

Very helpful info to bloggers. I think I will do some more long tail blogs because they work!

Long tail keyword marketing can be very effective. Most people dont take the time necessary to analyize keywords to see if they will actuall perform which makes the whole long tail keyword market actually really easy to break into.

Hi Doug, I was absolutely stunned!  I live at least an hour from this listing, but was more than willing to travel to help out a homeowner in need.

Chuck, you should definitely go for it!  I never really took it too seriously, but when you analyze the whole thing, it does make sense.  People who do long tail searches are generally looking for specifics, more so than those who put in more generic searches.

Hi Bob, you are absolutely right.  Now I just need to figure out how to be more consistent with my long tail blog titles.  I have to remember to do it from a buyer or seller's point of view.

the google keyord tool is an amazing FREE tool. There is not 1 successful blog using long tail keywords that does not analyze their keywords with this tools. Its a scary tool to learn to use but once you understand what you are looking at you can eat up your competition.

Hi Bob, I've seen the wheel and was deathly frightened.  I'll try to get more accustomed to it before the beginning of the year because I want to come out bloggin' blazin'. LOL!
