Friday's fotos! Back at the Zoo!

By
Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Chesapeake

"On a Mission" This photo of the tortoise was taken at the Philadelphia Zoo! It was a great family trip with my Daughters and grand daughters! The tortoise have a life span similar top ours and some have lived to be 150 years old and also cousins of the Sea Turtle! I found that information very interesting. Enough on that! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Keith - I've hear great things about the Philadelphia Zoo and what a great photo of that huge tortuous! I've always love them and used to look for them all the time when I was a kid - snappers, boxers.........but I'd keep a good distance from the Snapping turtles - they can take your finger off!

Kathy, That is a long life!

Linda, I spend summer weekends on our boat with friends crabbing, we love it.

Ken, I agree!

Kristine, I have come across a few of the snapping turtles and stay clear of them. We have seen them in the water.

Anita, Family time is a great time!

John, The first time I saw one was at the Pittsburgh zoo when I was 8 or 9 and it left a permanent memory with me. They are huge!

Great shot of the tortoise.  They can get so immense.  They are so interesting to see in the water.
