Last night I had the pleasure of joining friends for a great session of pre-holiday visiting and chatting. Our host surprised us all by handing out questionaires, and suggesting that we spend the evening talking about our answers to these holiday questions.
We had such a great time, and the discussion lasted much past our usual time. I think we all really enjoyed it, and it was a time we all learned more about the people we thought we knew.
I thought it might be fun to put the questions out here, for everyone to think about and enjoy. They're good for sharing, for rememberring, and for looking ahead.
- What is your favorite holiday food?
- Do you remember your favorite gift when you were a kid?
- What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
- What is your favorite Christmas carol, and why?
- What is your favorite Christmas memory?
- What is your favorite part of waking up on Christmas morning?
- How has Christmas changed for you over the years?
- What is the deepest prayer of your heart this Christmas?
Feel free to comment, or if you like, use a question or two to start a new thread on your blog.
My favorite carol? Oh, Holy Night... no question. But in the truck cd player right now I have Mannheim Steamroller, Oscar Peterson, and Ramsey Lewis (y'all don't need links to those, do you?)
