I just posted some graphs to my blog on Chicago Real Estate Scene concerning the real estate market in River Forest.
It looks like the market here is improving with inventories seriously down from 2010. This should put pressure on prices if it continues.
Median sales prices are pretty flat for the middle pricing tier but down a whopping 16% for the higher end homes. Most of the homes for sale in River Forest are traditional sales. The village has very few foreclosures and short sales.
