On January 22, 2012, postage rates are set to increase. The increase amounts to pennies, but now is the time to restock yoursupply of "Forever" stamps.

Effective Sunday, January 22, 2012 mailing a first class envelope will cost you an extra penny going from .44 to .45. Here is the a chart from the United States Postal Service showing the rate changes.
It will be necessary to have a few one cent stamps on hand for mailings. Post cards and mailings to Canada and Mexico increased a bit more.
