Thanks Leigh! Well,
1) I trained with the US Equestrian Team throughout high school until falling out of favor with my mother by choosing college (boys) over horses (work). I was a bit older before I realized you can have both. My mom and I made up and now she is one of my favorite people.
2) I used to haul hay every summer. I lived on a working farm growing up and hated the days we had to haul hay. The only saving grace was the high schools boys my dad hired to help us! I also know how to run a combine and just about every other piece of farm equipment.
3) I have my degree in English and Theatre. I did several internships in NY off broadway before my graduation. There is no where else I am as comfortable as I am on stage.
4) People ask me where I got my children from. My husband is a beautiful Filipino man and my children look exactly like him. I have had people ask me where I got my daughter. Womb! And if I "nanny full time for these kids." I tell people that I am full-time for "these kids" and I enjoy sleeping with their father!
5) In my former life at First Union Nat'l Bank, I got paid to travel to cities all over the world and scout out what extracurricular activities there were to do. Restaurants, theatre, clubs, tours, attractions, etc. I miss that job. That was in the good ole days before layoffs and downsizing.
Oh, I feel so dull. I will have to shake it up over the next five or ten years and do this again. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
I am tagging Ino Daffin, Darrell Thomas, and Sandra Thomas.
