While I am not a big fan of cliche's, I can tell you that Happy Thanksgiving is so much more than happy and thanksgiving. Today is a very special day, a day when every human can give thanks (in their own way) and find something to be thankful for or to appreciate some of the positives in one's life. Today is like every other day with the exception of reflecting on those things that we feel especially blessed to have in our lives.
I am thankful for:
My family and our soon to be third daughter (due in late January).
My friends and neighbors. We have a great time when we get together.
My country for the tradition of Thanksgiving and what we stand (stood for) minus the political correctness.
My work- I love what I do for a living and look forward to the everyday challenges.
My community- Loveland, Centerra and more specifically High Plains Village. We live in a great place.
Yes, maybe these are cliche's but today it really doesn't matter. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
