I wish I could write some eloquent piece on the economic & political intertwine that is our gas prices. Unfortunately (or maybe it IS a blessing!), I don't know enough about that to even try. So, I only have one thing to say.... "OUCH!!!!!"
It is just getting started. Gas Prices are predicted to hit $6 per gallon by June.
This will result in hyper-inflation at the grocery store and everywhere else.
"Ouch" is right!
Brenda, and its going to get worse before it gets better. Economical cars looking better to you?
OUCH is right Brenda! I heard $4.25 by April?? Just painful! And MD is debating whether or not to raise the sales tax on gas!
Brenda - You are right gas prices expected to increase in the summer. Thanks for the information.
Gas prices resonate throughout the economy. One of my favorite places for lunch just informed my they are raising their prices due to high gas prices since they have to truck their ingredients. The main cause of high gas prices is that this country has a shortage of refineries ...in fact none have been built in 30 years and this administration is antifossil fuels. Obama wants high energy costs to force us to go to alternative fuesl which do not currently exist.
Good morning Brenda,
Gas prices will continue to rise. Demand is down and yet prices are up - there is no rhyme or reason to it and the politicians just continue with their agenda....
Brenda...
These prices are killing the economy and burning up all of our disposable income. Wow.
Thank you all for the visit and comments.
Chris - my BIKE is looking better!! :-)
Sharon - Brilliant? I'll take it!! :-)
John & Andrea - Double ouch!!!!
Edward - Grocery stores raised their prices the last time we went through this... funny how they never lower them when gas prices dip back down....
Lisa - I'm curious how demand is down and continue to feel like we're all pawns in a political experiment re: our tolerance.
Richard - Bingo!
I do wonder 2 things: 1. if our administration wants to put America to work, why not tap into our OWN resources to create a bigger home-bred gas supply and 2. How many agents are going to request an up-front stipend (& get it!) before hauling buyers all over town?????? Have a good day All!
