Wallenpaupack Blogger Returns!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Real Estate RS301772

Well, it's been many, many days since I've had the time to write a new blog. I have all sorts of topics to post on - about Wallenpaupack lakefronts, about the Lake Wallenpaupack real estate market in general, about new listings and about homes going under contract. I'll be working on these new blogs in the coming days.

I have been very busy in the business of real estate. Some will say "Doom, doom! The market is dead!" We at WEICHERT, REALTORS - Paupack Group don't believe it! Our office has been busy as little bees, working hard for our sellers and buyers.

Kids in the snowJust before Thanksgiving, we enjoyed our first snowstorm; it was a Monday morning and the kids were delighted to be excused from school for the day.

I however, was NOT excused; I had an appointment to meet my buyer at the home he is purchasing. The home inspection was scheduled for that morning and I knew that my client had made a long journey the evening before to be there for the inspection.

The kids tagged along and played in the yard while I met with my client and the home inspector. It was a winter wonderland in Paupackan Lake Estates that day!

This lovely stream is just around the corner from my client's new house; it babbles and gurgles just like the stereotypical "babbling brook" and I could not resist taking a snapshot of it in all this wintry, snowy glory as it bubbled down the white hillside toward Paupackan Lake.

After meeting my client, I drove out past Prompton in Wayne County, to Waymart - to measure rooms and take pictures of my new listing (the subject of an upcoming blog.) The trip took a long time, as I had to stop many times to take pictures of the beauty of winter in Wayne County, PA. If you'd like to see more, click below on my album from that day:

Karen, I went to your album. Those are beautiful photos! I love the barns and the cow. Reminds me of our days in Orange County NY.

Karen- What a wonderful album of the day! How did you get that on your blog? I use picasa sometimes. I like the way you shared the album. It is good to see you back. I am busy as a bee too. I love it when I can take my kids with me! It looks like they had a blast! Katerina

Katerina, yes, the kids had fun!  Not only at this house, but at the other house that I have listed as well.  The Picasa web album was pretty easy.  On the main page for the album (the gallery page, I guess, not the slide show or individual picture pages) there is a link on the left "Link to this Album" and you can get the embed code to paste it directly in the blog in HTML view.  I added a border to make it stand out a little.

It's good to be back; I've missed AR very much!

Karen, Your pictures in your album were great.  I love to see snow pictures but I don't miss living in it at all!  I always was a warm weather person and I don't like to be in cold and snow.  Keep posting the pretty pictures for all of us to enjoy.

Roberta - thanks for the compliments!  I love taking pictures.  Last winter there was very little opportunity for snow shots, as there was very little snow!

Personally, I prefer to enjoy it either in pictures, or from my picture window!  ha!

Seeing all of the snow on the northern bloggers sites is really making me want to go skiing.  Hope the snow stays and you have a white xmas.

Karen, I'm enjoying the snow scenes as it is so warm here I was wondering whether to turn the A/C back on again.  We are going to Colorado for Christmas so who knows I might see some snow while there.  I'm with you and enjoy it more from a picture window so sure hope it doesn't disrupt our traveling.
