Today I am expanding on yesterdays blog about Tithing. I think if people understood tithing they would openly and receptively tithe. I don't know the actual percentage of people tithing out there (and by tithing I mean giving or more 10%). I would imagine the percentage is lower then it needs to be.
Our areas of lack in life come from not giving. The Law of Receiving's first step is giving. Whenever we have a need in life, we should ask, "what do I have to give." No matter where you are, or how bad it seems, you always have something to give. At first it may be time, or a flower from your garden to a sick friend, but if you think about it you will find something to give.
Next you do want to learn the power of giving the tithe in the form of money. Remember, it is okay to give and expect to receive. Its a universal law. Your giving opens the floodgates of heaven, just like your lack of giving is what has been blocking the flow of good to you.
I have experienced this first hand. I admit to have spent most of my life not tithing and out of balance on the giving part as a whole. Thus, that led to my life being out of balance. I started tithing and things line up in my life. I reverted for a while and again, out of balance. I have regained the understand and importance of this concept and here we are back in balance.
Here is an affirmation: "I always have something to give and I give it. As I give consistently, I open the way to receive consistently. I give freely my tenth to God's work and workers, and I reap a hundredfold. I am receiving, I am receiving now. I am receiving all the good God has for me now. I am permanently prosperous."
