The luxury second-home market appears to have stabilized and Barron’s has published its list of the “20 Best Places for Second Homes”. Barron’s chose the Hamptons, New York as #1 on the list followed by Kauai, Hawaii; Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts; Kiawah Island, South Carolina and Vail, Colorado. Park City, Utah was ranked #10.
The luxury home and condominium market in Park City has seen prices decline over the last several years and there are several luxury “Best Buys” throughout the area. There are deals in Wolf Creek Ranch, Deer Crest, Deer Valley, Empire Pass, The Colony at White Pine Canyon, and Quarry Mountain.
Barron’s concludes that we are probably near the last call for the last bargains.
