Social Media Question

I have been working on Facebook, YouTube, Blogging, Twitter and starting on Google+.

Here are a few questions that if I could get some answers to it might help me clarify where I should really be spending my time.

Do you use Facebook?  If so daily or how much?  Have you created a Business Page for your business?  Have you received any clients from your Facebook activity?

I have been using YouTube to advertise my Clients Homes and the area that I am currently living in.  Are any of you putting anything on YouTube?  Have you received any sales or business from YouTube activity?

Blogging:  I Blog for my properties and the area.  I know many of you are blogging and I have been very impressed by your knowledge and humor.  I imagine this has had an effect on your business.

Twitter:  I am using twitter very little.  I have heard from many of the gurus that they find it of little help as well but do post and do not hook up their Facebook & Twitter accounts.

Google+:  Are any of you using this and how do you feel this will impact your business in the future?

I know there are several Questions but if you could take the time to answer so I can determine which I should be spending most of my time on and where you see this going would be really helpful.

Thanks,

Gloria Losie

Facebook is awesome.  I use it daily...3 comments a day on it and 3 per week on my business page!  Consistency....

I use active rain, an outside blog, facebook, linkedin (a little) and twitter (a little).  I am making more of an effort to post blogposts (when appropriate) to several pages on facebook when I think it will be of interest.  For instance, if I write a post about a Chamber of Commerce event, then I will post it on the Chamber's facebook page.  That way, I am reaching their list of connections and not just mine.  I often place my post on a local business association page, our companies page and sometimes the local newspaper's page.

Depending upon what I am writing about, I may post my blog on 6 to 10 different pages.  I think the exposure is something that I cannot match anywhere else.

I agree with Larry, consistency is king and I am working on that.

I do get business directly from facebook.  I have a listing appt. tomorrow from a facebook lead.

BEST WISHES!

Gloria, what are the returns (in terms of sellers/buyers/calls) generated by your efforts?  Spend your time and efforts where you are seeing a return.  Where you spend your time will be a function of the clients you have and the clients you want.

Larry, Chris Smith & Chris Hooks,  Thank you all for the info.  I am was questioning Facebook but if you are getting business from it then I am impressed.  I am going to have to really see where my returns are coming from.  Consitency is something I am going to have to work on.

Again, thanks so much for you input.
