Sellers Market?

   I cannot speak for other areas of the country, but here in the Nashville, TN market area, we are experiencing a sellers market in some areas.
     The Spring sales season seemed to have started a little earlier this year and has not stopped. This week alone, John and I have done over 20 inspections for the week! Needless to say, the market here is rocking and rolling.
     In a time when the talking heads are spewing out their normal "Doom and Gloom" forecasts for the housing market, there are pockets that are recovering quite well...

Yes Michael... We are seeing a huge change and it's in the sellers benefit. How many home inspections do you allow yourself a day? I have one guy that works his tail off from morning till dark which is LATE here. Then I have another inspector that only does 2 home inspections a day (his rule). Just wondering.

Hi Big Scorpio - a little birdie (look up) told me you were swamped with business and can barely keep up! The same goes for our area as I've never been busier. Almost every home I've staged was under contract in less than two weeks and got at or very close to listing price. So much for the doom and gloom - I don't even listen any more! Michael, it's the same for your neighbors to the south in the Huntsville/Madison area. Some areas show absorption rates leaning to a buyers market, but for the most part we have turned the corner and homes are selling again at full list price...many more areas here are a sellers market. Craig hit the nail on the head..."All real estate is local".
