Silent Saturday - Now THAT'S What I'm Talking About!
Spring mornings just don't get better than this! Well worth waiting for.
I so needed a morning like today: Flawless blue skies, a shining mountain, the smell of fresh cut grass for the first time in five months, flip flops on the feet and dozens of Little Leaguers all pitching in to clean up their ball field in time for games to begin on Monday. Our son, Ben, plays on the Parkdale Little League Majors team, who was joined by the minors, coach pitch and t-ball teams to rake, sweep, pull weeds, trim back trees and hang sponsorship signs at Parkdale's own ball park. And all this in the shadow of glorious Mt. Hood.
