We live in an age where people look for quick solutions. We desire our food quickly, so there is a fast food restaurant on every corner. We desire our results quickly, so we seek out places or people that will give us results the fastest way possible.
It seems that the faster something is done the better. But the truth of the matter is that faster does not necessarily mean better. In fact, if you look back over your life you will probably notice that the things you value the most are things that took you a long time to achieve or receive.
I think that opportunity is missed by many people because they don't have an “abundance mentality” or “a positive mental attitude.” Instead of opportunity they see failure, lack, limitation or rejection) However, these things are opportunities for expanding and appreciating everything you have. And, they open the door to amazing personal and professional advancement.
As it's been said before: “Every adversity, every failure and every heartache carries with it a seed of an equal or greater benefit.”
