Otosclerosis is the new word of the day.

Here we go again :~) you just got to love the English language.  Word does not recognize this word and I can’t blame it.  I know a host of people that has this problem.  Some are agents and some or clients.  Regardless I’ll bet you know of people who may not have this disease but does have this problem.  The meaning of (ot’o skli ro’sis) is a growth of spongy bone in the inner ear, causing progressive deafness.  Does it not seem that some clients and agents only hear what they wanted to hear?  What say you?

My wife and I went to a Bill Cosby show a number of years ago. His entire show was all about the premise, that when men get married, the dirst thing they lose is their hearing. Now I know what he was talking about.

Good morning James-another twist is "selective listening". It would appear that many clients must have this condition.

I was able to figure out the definition of the word by putting together the two parts!  Interesting.  Some of these words make sense!

I have asked people if they are deaf before out of frustration. The next time I gusess I will ask if they have been diagnosed with otosclerosis! That will keep them guessing! Enjoy your day!
