Welcome to Woodbury Heights in Woodbury, New York and Highland Mills, NY.
This community was built in 1990. It consists of one level condos and two level townhouses.
The units have 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths or 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and are between about 998 square feet and about 1086 square feet. For those units that have basements, when the basements are finished, it adds considerable living space.
The one level condos have parking spaces available in parking lots.
It is often easy to enter your condo, if you are on the first floor. Frequently there are no steps or only a few steps to enter your unit. This makes it convenient to bring in groceries and is great for people who do not want to climb steps to enter their homes.
Some units have parking outside and others have detached garages.
Many units have been renovated and have updated kitchens and baths.
The condos and townhouses have laundry rooms in the units.
The condos and townhouses have beautiful landscaping which you can enjoy while sitting on your deck, patio or porch.
I felt a sense of peace and tranquility as I drove through this community.
I delighted in seeing the beautiful trees that were blooming. There are a variety of speciman trees, ornamental schrubs and flowering perennials and annuals.
There is a swimming pool in this community. I can imagine how much fun it is to swim in it, in the summer and to enjoy picnic lunches at the tables that surround the pool.
As a pet lover I am happy to say that pets are allowed!
Between January 1, 2012 and the time of the writing of this article, two 2 bedroom, 2 bath units have sold for $225,000 and $240,000 respectively.
At the time of the writing of this article, three units are on the market. One is a one level 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo being offered at $198,000. Two are two level 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouses listed at $215,000 and $239,000 respectively.
Woodbury Heights condominiums and townhouses is convenient for commuters going into New York City. There are buses close by to take you into the Port Authority of New York at 41st Street and 8th Avenue. There is also a train station in Harriman which is closeby, and takes commuters into either Secaucus or Hoboken, NJ. From there, you can take the Port Authority Trans Hudson (PATH) trains to lower Manhattan or 34th Street and 7th Avenue in Manhattan. The commute into New York by public transportation is about 1 and 1/2 hours.
This community is also close to major highways, such as the NYS thruway (I-87), Route 17 and Route 17M.
It is very close to the wonderful Woodbury Commons Premier Outlet shopping mall and many other stores, including Walmart, TJMax, BJs, Target, and more!
