Hey Karl well you intrigued me enough to click thru to read the article you provided a link for. It amazes me hopw this kind of stuff can be read and taken seriously to the point of legislation. We get what we deserve by letting politicans manipulate us by raising these kinds of red herrings

Hey Karl, I too like Charlie will click through to read, but like most Americians I'll just read this and offer an opinion.  My opinion is, if you have enough money to hire the right people to do the spin, we're in big trouble!

The ideology of Agenda 21 alone is a concern. If you want to go down the conspiracy highway, then we can have discussions about weather manipulation, eugenics, manipulation of behavior (The Stanford Institute), etc.  as "sustainable development" is already a given. Population control must be a factor in order to sustain the environment.

My personal take is that anytime you depend on government to protect you from a global crises, whether real or manufactured, you will become a slave to the new world order. So if global warming or Al Qaeda is your source of fear, I would be hesitate to surrender your personal liberty for government protection.

I'm with Satar, don't trust the government. With that said, do you want to believe that the governments around the world are going to take care of you or hurt you in the future?  Same question, different answer.  Governments are going to continue to take away rights a little at a time.  It doesn't have to be secret, they will spend your money out in the open, only you won't hear about it until it has been spent.

Ensure predictability in the flow of funds by contributions from developed countries, taking into account the importance of equitable burden-sharing;  (d) Debt relief. It is important to achieve durable solutions to the debt problems of low- and middle-income developing countries in order to provide them with the needed means for sustainable development. 33.16. Innovative financing. New ways of generating new public and private financial resources should be explored, in particular:

(a) Various forms of debt relief, apart from official or Paris Club debt, including greater use of debt swaps;

(b) The use of economic and fiscal incentives and mechanisms;

(c) The feasibility of tradeable permits;

(d) New schemes for fund-raising and voluntary contributions through private channels, including non-governmental organizations;

(e) The reallocation of resources at present committed to military purposes.

 

29.5. Governments, business and industry should promote the active participation of workers and their trade unions in decisions on the design, implementation and evaluation of national and international policies and programmes on environment and development, including employment policies, industrial strategies, labour adjustment programmes and technology transfers.

 

The last part alone would make me against it.

So Karl, what are you afraid of?  By your comments, the racist underachievers in Alabama have passed a law that won't mean a thing?  But unfortunately you are wrong.  Around the world, people are being forced to adhere to laws that mirror the same AGenda 21 goals.  Pick the state, pick the town, you will see the same agenda being passed as ordinances or "minor"civil laws.  They all add up.  What do you think all the world banks are for?  What about our country being "asked" to pay for climate change, to contribute to every 3rd world country in some way, and to accept international law?  These are parts of Agenda 21. 

I will contine to say this.  Take away the money and see what is left.  You will find that most of the things that control our world would be gone.  Only because those that currently rule would have no power without money.  Agenda 21 is about money.  Not goals.  Our world banks are not about helping people, they are about controling their money and through that, the people themselves.  Why else would they give money to banks and cause pain in the streets.  There is no sense to this.

You may disagree, and more power to you. But I live a life where those around me can hurt me at anytime.  I know those in power will and do the same, often as they can.

Dale - I can understand some of your sentiment.  I look at the Adelson's of the world who are worth just shy of 25 Billion Net and hear that he is going to do whatever it takes to elect Romney.  Then again, I see a guy like Ted Turner or George Soros who are considered (rightfully so) more liberal and maybe they will flip the bill for the re-election of Obama.  It is the root, Money.  But its root is not just the paper its printed upon, but how it is used.  If a Liberal Chap spends on Infrastructure and Education, it is "wasted" as far Conservatives see it.  If a Conservative Chap spends on Foreign Policy & Immigration Reform, it is quasi-racist and elitist as far as the Liberals are concerned.

Other than the thing that propelled Pro-Wrestling to high ratings in the late 90's, I don't believe in the New World Order.  Not that I don't think it exists in some fashion, just that I think higher authority should leave me the hell alone if I'm not hurting anybody else. 

And if you ever could legitly take away the money, all bets are off.  No power without money?  What a concept?  You sound like a hippie, amigo.  The goals are money and power.  Unless it is a sermon on any given Sunday ..

Karl - Assuming the claim is true, what is the logical conclusion of preventing an anthropogenic climate change??  ;)

Jason - There is a book called "None dare call it a conspiracy". You can read it for free online, but I recommend finding a copy to look at the graphs and charts. Was written in 1971 and it talks about a global government. Very interesting read. It was funny that the author was trying so hard to show examples how the federal reserve was designed to help the banking cartel when that is so evident today.

I think we should talk about climate change and determine whether it is a natural cycle or caused by the inhabitants of the planet. Is there any other solutions to anthropogenic climate change other than population stability or depopulation?

I also agree with your stance on the Alabama law. I believe the law might create unintended consequences while trying to establish a political stance on a non-issue.
