Event: Ladies Fishing on the Fly (16 and Older)
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: Eastridge Recreation Center
Fee: Members $25, Program Guests $30
The Cultural Affairs Association (CAA) and the Cutthroat Chapter of Trout Unlimited team-up to bring this new ladies fly fishing class to Highlands Ranch. Ladies' Fishing on the Fly is dedicated to helping women learn and enjoy the sport in a supportive and non-competitive environment. We believe that fly fishing can be experienced on many different levels and that one need not be an expert to appreciate the beauty of the fish, the flies, the peace of the environment, the adventure, fun, and challenge of the sport. This program includes three classroom sessions, and one evening field-trip to Lake Lehow to put into practice what you've learned.
Classroom: August 2, 9, & 16, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Field-trip: August 23, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Event: Arts Festival
Time: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Location: Town Center North
The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association’s (HRCAA) Arts Festival will now take place Saturday and Sunday, August 4 & 5 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Town Center North, 1100 Sgt. Jon Stiles Drive, Highlands Ranch. The Wine Tasting will be held on August 4 only in conjunction with the Arts Festival from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
The HRCAA Arts Festival is a juried show featuring local artists. Children will be entertained with face painting, and more. Attendees may browse one-of-a-kind fine art and fine crafts while listening to live music. A local chalk artist, will return to produce chalk artwork right on the square. Chalk will also be available for children to try their well. Watch his art take shape throughout the weekend. There is no charge to attend the festival.
Event: Art Festival Wine Tasting
Time: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Location: Town Center North
A wine tasting will be held in conjunction with the Arts Festival on Saturday from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Taste refreshing wines from Highlands WineSeller as you browse beautiful art from local artists. Enjoy delicious appetizers from Whole Foods. Look for the wine tasting tent. Come in, sit back, and relax while appreciating the fine wine, food and music!
Advance tickets for the tasting are $17 Members; $20 for Program Guests; and $20 the day of the tasting, if not sold out. Proceed benefit the Highlands Ranch Community Scholarship Fund.
Additionally, wine by the glass will be offered from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. now both days!
Over 21 years of age only, please. ID’s will be checked.
Event: Evening Hayride and Picnic
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Take a rustic horse drawn hay ride into the Backcountry. Bring a picnic dinner and blanket while you enjoy the beauty of the Backcountry Wilderness Area during the evening hours. Relax as you breathe in the fresh air and soak in the awe inspiring views of the Front Range.

Come see a movie in the pool! It's a FREE Event. Movie - TBA, Doors open 7:30 and movie starts at 8:15 p.m. or dusk.
Bring in dinner (no alcohol) or have pizzas delivered. The movie will be shown weather permitting.
