Are you comfortable in your skin?

Albuquerque ,Horned Toad, horny toad, frog, lizard, john mccormack, albuquerque homes realty

While driving off road and enjoying Mother Nature, out of the corner of my eye there he was!  The Albuquerque Horned Toad.  I threw on the brakes, stopped the truck and my brave bride jumped out and began to photograph her first encounter with an Albuquerque Horned Toad.

Now this fella looks pretty comfortable in his skin but are you?  Have you outgrown your home?  Has your family grown and you need some more space?  Are you looking for a new face lift in the way of a new home?  The Albuquerque real estate market is flush with good inventory of medium to high end homes making it a perfect time to consider moving into some new skin home.

The horned lizard is popularly called a "horned toad", "horny toad", or "horned frog", but it is neither a toad nor a frog. The spines on its back and sides are made from modified scales, whereas the horns on the heads are true horns.

Debbie did a great job of capturing this "little guy" up-close and personal John. Don't know how comfortable he is, but he probably has a nice Albuquerque condo to cuddle up in!

Reminds me of the days when I used to live in the Mojave Desert and catch these. My parents were ok with these little guys but used to freak out when I brought home a scorpion. cheers cvc

I'm at a fundraiser for ferrets and someone brought one of those with them. They are sitting about 5 feet from me. Was a little surprised when I looked over and there it was.
