Integrity: The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles OxfordDictionaries.com
Have you every pondered what integrity means to you? Real Estate is a challenging business that often forces me to question what this word means to me in my business and, more importantly, in life. Knowledge is imperative, but integrity is the essence of what keeps values, morals, and knowledge adhered together in a solid consistent manner.
In my Real Estate business:
•Integrity compels me to care for my clients like they were my own loved ones,
•Integrity keeps me fighting for what is right in a home sale.
•Integrity drives me to market myself and my business honestly.
•Integrity forces me to tell a client that that it may not be the right time for them to buy or sell.
•Integrity forces me to tell a client that if they don’t buy/sell right now they will be losing money.
•Integrity encourages me to advise a client that they should give their current Realtor a second try rather than switching to me.
•Integrity forces me to admit my shortcomings and vow to improve.
•Integrity compels me to give my knowledge to those who need it knowing there will never be financial reward.
•Integrity provides me with the gift of turning clients into treasured friends.
Clearly upholding what I believe is right is not going to make me a wealthy woman. However, it will make me rich with friendships, personal satisfaction, and, most importantly, a legacy that will be carried on by my children.
