I go every year... The Salinas International Air Show, that is of course in Salinas California.
It is kind of North West of Monterey and about 1 hour South of Silicon Valley.
We usually get the Navy's Blue Angels, or the Air Force's Thunderbirds (like this year), or the Patriots and sometimes the Canadian SnowBirds.
There i always a wide range of things to see and do. From Monster Trucks, to acrobatic planes of the past and present.
If you are ever planning on going next year, I would arrive early and spend the day going through all the planes and exhibits. Wear sunblock, and don't forget to thank our service men and women for what they do!
