Listing Tips

I saw the summer quickly roll by with busy work days and some fun in between. I had the opportunity to visit beautiful Lake Tahoe and Virginia City as well as some lazy days on our local lakes. Its hard to believe we just had our October wine Harvest here in beautiful San Luis Obispo County. With Fall in the air and Thanksgiving around the corner the trees are turning gorgeous colors and our hill sides are becoming green once again.

Now would be a good time to think about listing your home.

Listing Tip #1

Think of the great photos we could use with all the fall colors, your yard is at its best!

Listing Tip #2

Use the fireplace to stage that at home feeling when holding an open house

Listing Tip #3

Simmer some hot coco or cinnamon sticks to add to the warmth of the season. It will make buyers feel right at home

Add cinnamon scented pine cones....I smelled it at the store yesterday and I am still soaking in its scent.

I know what you mean I love the smell of the pine cones too. Another tip I use is putting candles in a cluster on a shelf on a wall if the seller doesn't have a fireplace or putting a pretty scarf or table cloth over a desk and adding the candles there. I do that to my work space at home when I have people over. It adds to the mood and looks really pretty.

I love the idea of having the fireplace roaring.  If that doesn't give off that "homey" feeling what does?
