Sarasota FL Chalk Festival 2012
A popular 10 day annual event which attracts more than 200,000 young and old visitors and artists from the whole country and around the world is the Sarasota FL Chalk Festival 2012 from October 28 to November 6.

This is free and open to all to enjoy the creative completed 3D artwork on November 5 and 6 - it will be washed off before the next business day. The Chalk Festival 2012 took place at Burns Square near Orange Avenue and Pineapple Avenue in downtown Sarasota Florida 34236.
There were 500 artists who participated, and about 50 artists were from other countries.

Most of the art was on the streets, while some “Going Vertical” was painted on the walls of buildings which were permanent.
