“Every year thousands of people gather to watch the bands, floats, tractors, antique cars, and lowriders entered in the Bryan College Station Christmas Parade.” From bcsparade.com
A tradition for eighty-six years the Bryan-College Station Christmas Parade is a wonderful way to kick off the start of the Christmas season with family and friends. The parade will start in Parking Lot 50 on University Drive and will merrily stroll its way down University Drive to Texas Avenue where it will then travel north on Texas Avenue to Sulphur Springs in Bryan.
Make sure to check out the full parade route to select your viewing spot. The parade will also be shown online at kamu.tamu.edu and on channel KAMU-TV 12.1.
Santa will also be at the parade to personally accept any early Christmas letters but be sure to put your mailing address on them so Santa can write you back!
“People come to the B-CS Christmas Parade to be entertained. You can share in all of the fun by sponsoring an entry in the parade. You, your business, your band, or your organization can become part of the spectacle that entertains friends, neighbors and guests. We are expecting more than 30,000 spectators again this year!” From http://bcsparade.com/
If you or your organization would like to participate in the Lone Star Christmas Parade then participants are encouraged to fill out an entry form and submit it to the offices of Bryan Broadcasting by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 16th. Entry forms and a complete set of rules are available at the Bryan-College Station Christmas Parade website.
