What is asdfasdfasdf?

Oddness  on the AR post that has been here since 2006. I think he was a KW agent with a 2006 comment from Bryant Tutas....but I forget what Bryant said. Yesterday there was a post.  Today  I am getting

"This post is no longer available. Please use the search bar below to find a related post."

Don There was nothing sinister, or offensive in the 2006 AR post that was taken down.  I believe the content may have been the same as the title...  Someone playing with the editor to see what it would take to make a post?  

Why the 2006 post would be taken down is beyond me....

I just wondered if someone was working on adding something on county pages on AR and got distracted.  

Fernando I looked at Google too, I thought it was higher.  I was thinking over 600,000.  Perhaps I searched with " " or without? Or one of the other versions...  

I also looked at  asdfasdfasdf on ActiveRain via Google and that's how I found the 2006 post which is gone now.

Bill I recognized it right away as the left hand keys. I think most people do.   I was vaguely familiar with the meme but had to look it up, I knew it had to do with boredom, finger drumming...

I don't think anything is terribly wrong with AR, either.  There's some nonsense characters on county pages.   

Paula  the only place to see it on AR is on county pages.

There are NOT entries on the AR state pages. I have not seen the letters on a city page.  I've seen it on every county page I have looked at.  For example:

Evelyn  In general it is just the left hand letters...  as if you are bored, drumming your fingers. 

You could express your boredom by posting "asdfasdfasdf."   Someone might know what you were saying.  Or not.   Or it seems people use "asdfasdfasdf" to check an editor?  One of the Urban Dictionary entries says it's used to check internet connectivity.    

The member in 2006 just posted it as an entry.  It was not enough words or characters to get AR points.  One member commented. 

What is the  "asdfasdfasdf" on AR county pages?  Your guess is as good as mine. The asdfasdfasdf above each entry on AR county pages are just text.  It does not say anything.  It does not do anything. There is no link to anything but it seems to be on every county page.

While Portage County, WI was NOT a county I looked at I think I can safely say it was there, it was on every county but it is gone.

I reported it to ActiveRain with the Contact ActiveRain a day or so before I posted this.

  asdfasdfasdf is not on counties anymore but it was.  It was on all counties.

Richland County, Ohio page, here is the same as in the post but there is no asdfasdfasdf anymore because AR went in and removed it.

 You got here too late!  Or looked at your County page to late to see it on all the non featured entries there.  It did not do anything, it was just there.
