Historic Downtown Melbourne has become one of the go to areas when searching restaurants and night life for many Space Coast residents and visitors. It seems like every day a cool new place opens that we all want to try...and talk about. One place that has been around for a while...and turns out some nice menu options is The Nomad Cafe.
The Nomad Cafe offers both lunch and dinner...all with a bit more flair than you will find in some competing restaurants. The lunch menu offers sandwiches, tacos, salads, burgers (including a Portebella Mushroom burger that will satisfy most vegetarians).
The dinner menu offers an eclectic mix of international dishes that on the surface would seem not to go together, but taken as a whole I think the menu really offers something for everyone. This is a nice casual restaurant to take a client, a date, or a group of friends. The wine list is quite nice and you will feel very comfortable in the surroundings. The hours are Monday through Friday 11-9 and Sat. 12-9 (they do recommend you not bring children after 7pm). Reservations for dinner are strongly recommended. The Nomad Cafe is closed on Sunday.
