Today was the day I left early early from Simi Valley to Westwood to see the eye doctor. My good friend takes the ride with me and we chat and enjoy the drive and checking out nature.
As I leave my Wood Ranch townhome, I look forward to seeing my friends at Starbucks and a quick hello. I scurry to get going to get my friend.
Bette lives in a Simi Valley home on the east end of town. I pick her up and we trek down the freeway.
Today it was very foggy and we both enjoy seeing how the fog goes in and out and looks like smoke in the sky.
I am blessed for wonderful friendships and am sure to tell Bette and others how much I appreciate them. And as we travel the road, we both comment how blessed to live in such wonderful climate with good lives.
Gratitude and appreciation is a daily part of my life.
