My client and friend Russ Brown recently wrote an amazing book about a dividing up America called "A Mark of the Divine"
Dividing Up America
A Mark of the Divine is a powerful and imaginative novel of how two young men go about bringing back the original vision and version of America, with a Dividing Up America that will captivate and stimulate your imagination.
They are convinced that the people of America are hopelessly divided and deadlocked to a point of never being able to truly find acceptable compromise in moving the Country first back to a point of where it was and then forward to the continuation of prosperity.
In a stunning development, it is determined that the only possible way of achieving the results they feel are necessary, drastic measures must take place. A very large block of citizens are of the same mind as it relates to government over-reach and the curtailment of religious freedom. All of this results in a large number of states in mid-America joining together and seceding from the union, thus setting up a complete Dividing Up America.
When the ‘dust’ settled America was now three America’s – East America, Mid-America and West America. The population make up of each America pretty well followed the make up the last national election. Mid-America, which is where the main part of this exciting story takes place, consists largely of those who identified themselves of Christian Conservatives while East America and West America primarily identified themselves as Liberals.
As a part of this vast ‘Dividing Up America’ begins to take shape, a large migration takes place from the west and east to Mid-America. Farmers and Ranchers throughout the Midwest from Canada to Mexico set up Villages where a ‘new start’ for millions is provided.
Reminiscent of the early pioneers who settled America, this tremendously diverse group of people of all ages and all races dig in and build a vibrant and healthy nation called Mid-America. They had in common their Christianity, hard work, and a strong desire for freedom with governments that were lean and doing as the people directed.
The Dividing Up America is prompted by a mysterious ‘line in the sand’ that appears in the Armargosa Desert and is believed to be a strong statement from God that He will no longer tolerate the decline in the peoples failure to follow His commandments and teachings.
Live this adventure with the wonderful characters that bring this new nation and renewed people to fruition. Thrill to the real definition of Americans – living to the fullest by working hard and smart, staying within the boundaries our good Lord set, accepting no charity except as a last resource and having fun.
