If so, we should talk about the value of your home. It wasn't very long ago that there were 5 or 6 condos at Kahler Glen for sale, all around $160,000. Slowly, they finally sold. The next house came on at $180,000. I had some clients who made an offer, but weren't willing to pay that outrageous price. It sold, and so did the next one at $209,000 in the Fall of 2005. A year later, the only listing in the area sold at $275,000. The demand is still out there. How do I know? Kahler Glen and Kahler Glen Condos remain popular search terms on my website. The market for vacation homes a few hours from Seattle remains strong. People love being able to ski, golf, and visit Lake Wenatchee from their condo.
Update: Spring 2009
I love Kahler Glen and I really like the condos there. However, the tides have turned and this is now clearly a BUYERS MARKET.
As of May 21, there are 5 of the older Kahler Glen Condos for sale ranging in price from $279,000 to $300,000. There is also one of the newer Natapoc Condos for sale at $319,000 which includes a garage.
In years past, only one condo a year was on the market and now there are 6. If you are thinking about buying a condo near Lake Wenatchee this is probably the time to do it.
Update Winter 2010
3 Kahler Glen condos sold in 2009 between $250,000 and $272,000. Additionally, the 2 bedroom Natapoc Condo sold for $274,000.
As of January 2010 - 2 condos are for sale, 1 upper and 1 lower unit.
I also know there is at least 1 buyer currently in the market for a Natapoc unit. If you are even thinking about selling, please contact me.
