Lions Club July 2013 summer dinner:
July and August 2013 Lions club members meeting was held at Losey’s Landing in Science Hill Kentucky. Somerset Lions club had a pot luck dinner. Every Lion produced a favored food to make a grand summer Lions dinner. Fancy deserts were plentiful as well as Texas style ribs cooked with a French sauce. All together the dinner event was a great Lions club dinner and day of fellowship.
Those attending the August meeting included: Bill and Audrey Stroud, Roy and Maxine Hicks, Betty Cook, Ken Jacques, and Host Cherry, Phil, and Phil Losey “JR”.
Lions Club is dedicated to saving vision and eye care. We meet the first Tuesday of every month usually at Ruby Tuesday. Our next meeting is September 3rd at 6:30 PM at Ruby Tuesday. If you are interested in a Service club and doing good work in a friendly community atmosphere give us a call; call Phil at 606-875-1221 or simply come to our next meeting.
