Green is the new movement. Why? Global warming awareness is on the move and rightly so. As much as we all are trying to be more aware, we continue to contribute to pollution just by the pure fact of our population. The Green movement in building is growing and responds in so many ways to living in a clean and pure environment while contributing to restoring nature's balance.
LEED certification is now a major mover in this cause. Building projects must go through a rigid point system to achieve a certification status which is offered at different levels. Previously, this has been mostly focused on commercial projects but is now moving into residential.
