Just sitting here with a fellow realtor of mine and she says to me, Google yourself.??? Well, honestly I had never thought to do this so I typed in Jay Lough and to my surprise, up came about 3 pages all about me, some I had forgotten about, some from a few years ago. I typed in my husband, my sisters, etc. just to see what else I could find. Very interesting. I did this because I wanted to make sure that any content in any of my sites was correct information and it wasn't all correct. I had changed companies from Sutton Group and at one time, I had a site for wheelchair accessible homes, now obsolete. Was all kinda fun. Try it and see just how famous you are.

I have an auto Google Alert set for anytime my name comes up on the internet. I am currently on vacation in California and received a Google Alert yesterday. When I clicked on the link it was a front page quote in our hometown newspaper about info they had taken from my blog. How cool is that?

Carol how do you get a Google alert?? I would like to have that, I have an old website that shows up above all my other pages and I can not remember how to edit it. i tried to find out and still have not found out how??

It still has me with my old company and pages that have not ever been edited, I keep wondering how it beats the pages I work on all the time??

Google calls such searches "vanity searches". Try Googling your name attached to various word also.

That was interesting that you had a web-site for wheel chair accesible homes..was it successful? What kind of response did you get? Do you know of good web-sites to post a couple of listings I have that were built for wheel chair accessibility?

I have a couple of homes I am marketing currently. One is in the 600,000 range and the other is a multi-million dollar estate home.
