Broken Neck but no Broken Spirit... Thanks...

Optimism and Faith are magic healers!   Optimism and Faith are attractive, these qualities draw people and business to us.   Fortunately,  my brother DJ has always been a glass half full kind of guy.   Prior to his surgery for a broken neck on Friday he said to me..."don't worry sis, if I have to be a gimp the rest of my life, I will be a happy gimp".   We laughed and I said I didn't doubt that because he has faced every day with that "what will be will be" mentality and "It's all good".   I spoke with DJ yesterday and he was having lunch with his surgeon.   His voice is back (it was missing a few days as they went in through his throat to repair the neck) and he was his cheerful hopeful optimistic self and assured me he will walk, play tennis and yes, ski again.  He is a believer in getting back on the horse...  No broken neck will bring him down.   I am so grateful to be of his gene pool.  I wish for 1/10th of his optimistic motivation.   Thanks to the active Rainer's who kept DJ in their prayers... it clearly works...    The Moral to this story:  Be optimistic, enthusiastic and business will come to you... don't let no stinking market get you down...  Happy Spring Market!

Annie - I arrived at work this morning a little down about business.  Needless to say, your post provides perspective and reminds us of what is really important in life.  My thoughts and prayers are with your brother and your family.  I can certainly learn a great deal from the manner in which he is facing true adversity.
