Lake Parks and Recreation Association has a boat ramp at the end of Foothill Drive for residents. It provides direct access to the Occoquan Reservoir. A key to the ramp can be obtained at the administration office on Oakwood Drive and there is a one key limit per household.
Boats pwered by more than a 10 hp engine ar prohibited on the reservoir and swimming and water skiing are strictly prohibited,
Lake Ridge Park and Marina Entrance to the park is located at the southern end of Cotton Mill Drive. You can launch your boat for either a daily or seasonal fee. Furthermore, if you don't own a boat you can rent a canoe, paddle boat, jon boat with electric motor or jon boat with oars. Additionally, bait, snacks and life jacket rentals are available.
Lake Ridge Area There are numerous private marina facilities with launch capability as well as two public parks. The Occoquan Regional Park on Route 123 just across the river in Fairfax County has boat launching facilities with direct access to the Potomac River and beyond. Leesylvania State Park on the Potomac River at the end of Neabsco Road in Woodbridge has both storage facilities as well and launching capability for power and sailboats.
