Almost 6 out of 10 Tooele County Homes has a gun. That ties Tooele at 59.1% of homes with guns with a county in Fairbanks Alaska, for the top spot of Counties in the nation that take advantage of the second amendment.
I think the reason Stan from Grantsville Ut let me know about it was he thought I was in contact with the jerk that was suing his neighbor over the horse manure being piled too close to his house.(last weeks blog). Maybe Stan thought I was serious and the guy was really going to move to Tooele, that I was going to sell him a house and we both should be warned.
In any event, it's nice to know that kind of thing, particularly in my business, Real Estate. Now, based on facts from Stan, and City Data I feel I must disclose to potential home buyers any where in Tooele County that no one, absolutely no one, has more guns than we do, and that there is a 100% chance that if you buy a house in Grantsville, Stansbury Park, Erda, or Tooele or any other city in the County, one of your 2 next door neighbors has a gun in the house.
Stan, I appreciate the feedback, but I wasn't going to sell this guy a house any way.
However, and this is for Stan, it's a Backatcha. None of the cities in Tooele County are nearly as impressive as one of our Southern Utah neighbors. Check this out.... In 2000 the city of Virgin, Utah, passed a law that required 100% of the home owners in that town keep and maintain a firearm. Stan, If you feel like you have to move, I'd like to list your house.
