Since Bob made that comment I’ve had some time to reflect on THE KINGDOM...and Bob was absolutely right...
Although many of us consider ourselves blessed to be Americans, as followers of Christ, we are all merely aliens here...our true home and ultimate destination and citizenship being Heaven, The Beatific Vision, and LIFE ETERNAL in the PERFECTION of Union with CHRIST, OUR KING...
Whether or not you share this belief you need to meditate, reflect, and ponder it...
The brass ring is not the ultimate goal of a carousel ride, it merely allows us to go further or receive THE PRIZE...
Likewise, our sojourn here on Earth, pleasant though it may be, is only ‘boot camp’ for the LIFE TO COME...
If we live what we believe, that is where our focus needs to be...not on the events of the day, the problems we encounter, or the difficulties that we need to overcome...OR...the texting message that seems so urgent and important at the time...
NO...if we are truly followers of HIM...we must set our focuses much higher...Raise your eyes unto the heavens from where comes your help...!!!
There are PROPHETS among us, sent by God to guide us to our ultimate destiny...We must listen to them and OBEY...!!!
