Believe it or not, my clients made two full priced offers on homes in this Richmond neighborhood and were outbid both times! They were looking in the $400k range and wanted to stay in Richmond, TX due to the favorable tax rates. They loved Katy, but without any children left home - they weren't as interested in the higher tax rates in exchange for the amenities and location. This was the third house they bid on and they were able to get it for under under their $400k budget. The neighborhood prices range from about $400k - 1.2 million dollars - so they were pleased to be able to get into it as the smaller house in the larger neighborhood. They traded out location (since the subdivision is a little further out than most) with size, lakes and a pool! It's a gorgeous neighborhood. As a matter of fact - if you look at my listings, it is the same neighborhood where I have the home listed for $899,999 (formerly $935,000).
This couple stopped into my open house yesterday to let me know how much they love their house and neighborhood and it seems like a dream when they are driving through the gates!
