There are many single men and women that are ready to purchase their first home and that could be a condo, townhouse or even a detached home.
One of my buyers is just 21 years old and has already purchased his first investment property. His goal is to own 3 properties by the age of 30 and then using some of the equity from his investment properties he wants to purchase his personal home.
Its important that when you start looking for a property whether its for investment purposes or to live in that you have a few people on your side. A good real estate agent will introduce you to a mortgage broker or two and a detailed oriented home inspector and many other resources that you will require. You must be very comfortable with your real estate agent, interview a few. Work with someone with a few years of experience, someone that knows the area and someone that wants to create a long term relationship with you. Remember Real Estate is all about YOU!
