Penticton Farmers Market; Where You Can Buy Local Every Saturday, Spring to Fall!

For those in the know; I am not just the Flufftastic Fairy. My alter ego is BAM-a-Lam, Balloon Animal Maker extraordinaire (lol)...

So when I moved to Summerland, BC, in late June this year I decided I would work at the local Farmer's Markets to make money while Fluff My House! Home Staging Inc. got up & running.

Non-rainy Saturdays have been spent at the Penticton Farmer's Market located on 4 to 5 blocks of Main Street Penticton from 8am - 2 pm. The hours are actually 9 - 1 pm but the vendors are there... (rainy Saturdays I've been renovating my place)

My little spot, under a huge tree in the shade was across from 3 vendors who had to put up with the occasional popping of Balloons & my chatter with the kids... :)

So in return, I thought I would feature them so you can find them (& me) when the market opens in the spring!

Bean Boy Homous features 95% organic products in 4 flavours! Located in Victoria & Kelowna you will find them at many of the areas Farmers Markets.

Conchita & Luciano Pianezzia Jewelery have some of the most beautiful stone jewellery you will ever find with real amber from Poland! They are located in Osoyoos @ 509.723.4385.

Covert Farms Family Estate carries organic produce & the best corn you'll ever eat! The Estate has a market, Winery, corn maze & many family events throughout the year!

His vegetables always inspired me to try to make a garden related balloon to display at his stall every week!

There is only one Saturday left for this outdoor market this year & none too soon, it was a chilly blustery day & we were all bundled up, but even still I had to leave early because my hands had stopped working... :)

If I don't see you there this year, I'll see you next!
:)

Hi Peg, I think more and more folks will head on over to local farmers markets because I hear the "shutdown" is going to raise prices in the supermarkets, better to buy local veggies and fruit!

Hey Peg,  Its sad to think our Farmer's Markets will be closing down until next year.  These are always so much fun and a chance to get some great things.

Buying local is better for the economy anyway Kathy... :)

BB, the only trouble with me working the FMs is; I never get to buy anything unless it is right next to me, because by the time my line up is finished, everyone is packed up! lol

Peg, what a great idea! I hope you have info out about your staging business too! We have a farmers market here too. I just love it!

Janice, because I'm dressed in a 'clown' type outfit, I don't necessarily want to have my Staging info out... lol

I'll have to think about that... :)

Dolores loves the farmers' markets that also include hand made crafts and jewelry. I like the tables with the desserts.

Enjoy the fall colors and events with  your camera in hand.
